ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI SIDERMEC: IN BOSNIA PODIO PER MARCHIORI E PONOMAR
L’ultima tappa della Belgrade Banjaluca (Uci 2.1) di ieri ha portato un doppio podio individuale per l’Androni Giocattoli Sidermec, oltre a quello della vittoria nella classifica a squadre.
Nella Prijedor-Banjaluka (quarta tappa di 163,5 chilometri), vinta da Raim, bel terzo posto allo sprint per Leonardo Marchiori, con Jerman 6° e Tagliani 9°. Proprio Tagliani e Jerman hanno chiuso nella top-10 in classifica generale (vinta da Raim): rispettivamente 6° e 7°.
Belle notizie anche dalla classifica dei giovani dove Andrii Ponomar è salito sul gradino più alto del podio. Infine, come detto, il team, guidato da Leonardo Canciani, ha fatto sua anche la classifica a squadre.
Sulla corsa ecco il commento del team manager Gianni Savio: «Svolgendo doppia attività, tra Tour of the Alps e Belgrade Banjaluka, abbiamo ottenuto buoni risultati e conquistato la maglia bianca dei giovani in entrambe le corse. Jefferson Cepeda e Andrii Ponomar rappresentano la continuità del progetto, con il quale negli ultimi anni abbiamo lanciato vari talenti che hanno vinto con noi ed hanno poi continuato ad imporsi nelle grandi squadre del World Tour.
I risultati ottenuti ora assumono un significato particolare, in quanto sono il frutto del lavoro svolto da tutte le componenti la squadra.
Intendo quindi elogiare corridori, dirigenti, tecnici, medici, massaggiatori e meccanici.
Siamo un gruppo davvero unito e compatto, che non si è mai perso d’animo ed ha sempre lavorato con grande impegno».

PRESS RELEASE – ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI SIDERMEC: PODIUM FOR MARCHIORI AND PONOMAR IN BOSNIA
The last stage of Belgrade Banjaluca (Uci 2.1) yesterday brought a double individual podium for Androni Giocattoli Sidermec, in addition to the victory in the team classification.
In Prijedor-Banjaluka (fourth stage of 163,5 kilometers), won by Raim, a good third place in the sprint for Leonardo Marchiori, with Jerman 6th and Tagliani 9th. Tagliani and Jerman finished in the top-10 in the overall standings (won by Raim): 6th and 7th respectively.
Good news also from the ranking of young riders where Andrii Ponomar climbed to the top step of the podium. Finally, as mentioned, the team, led by Leonardo Canciani, won the team classification.
On the race here is the comment of the team manager Gianni Savio: «By carrying out double activities, between Tour of the Alps and Belgrade Banjaluka, we obtained good results and won the white jersey of the young people in both races. Jefferson Cepeda and Andrii Ponomar represent the continuity of the project, with which in recent years we have launched various talents who have won with us and have then continued to establish themselves in the great teams of the World Tour. The results obtained now take on particular significance, as they are the result of the work done by all members of the team.
