THE TEAMS SET TO COMPETE IN THE FIRST EVER UAE TOUR WOMEN ARE ANNOUNCED
13 UCI Women’s WorldTeams and 7 UCI Women’s Continental Teams will compete in the first-ever UCI Women’s WorldTour race in the Middle East.

United Arab Emirates, 30 January 2023 – Abu Dhabi Sports Council, organisers of the UAE Tour, are pleased to confirm the full list of teams participating in the first ever UAE Tour Women. From 9-12 February, 20 teams of six riders each (13 UCI Women’s World Teams and seven UCI Women’s Continental Teams) will come together to race on the roads of the Middle East.

The introduction of the event into the UCI Women’s WorldTour calendar showcases cycling’s growth in popularity, offering local cycling fans greater opportunities to experience world-class racing in the region. The inaugural UAE Tour Women race will run ahead of the fifth edition of the men’s WorldTour race, the UAE Tour, which takes place from 20-26 February.

Further details of the 2023 UAE Tour Women, including the provisional list of riders, will be announced soon.
