All set for the third edition of the UAE Tour

Two days to go until the third edition of the one and only WorldTour race in the Middle East begins. Tomorrow, A.Yates, Pogačar, Froome, Nibali, Van der Poel, Ganna, Ackermann and Bennett will answer questions from the media in a virtual press conference available online via this link. 2021 UAE Tour Roadbook
United Arab Emirates, 19 February 2021 – The third edition of the UAE Tour, the one and only WorldTour race in the Middle East, will start on Sunday 21 February from Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi.

The race will feature four stages dedicated to sprinters, two for the climbers and one individual time trial for a total of 1041km of riding, with a significant elevation gain of around 3500m metres overall, mostly concentrated into Stages 3 and 5 (thanks to summit finishes atop Jebel Hafeet and Jebel Jais). From 21 to 27 February, the route will cross five of the seven independent city-states that form the United Arab Emirates, with Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Umm al-Quwain, Fujairah and Ras al-Khaimah all playing host to the race.

Top Riders’ Press Conference 
2020 UAE Tour champion Adam Yates, runner-up Tadej Pogačar, Chris Froome, Vincenzo Nibali, Matthieu van der Poel, Filippo Ganna, Pascal Ackermann and Sam Bennett will all take part in the UAE Tour Top Riders’ Press Conference on Saturday 20 February at 17:00 GST  (14:00 CET). The Press Conference will be available via this link.

Media can submit their questions via email to theuaetourofficial@gmail.com by 15:00 GST (12:00 CET). During the conference a moderator will put these to the riders.
