ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI SIDERMEC: BUON BILANCIO AL TURUL ROMANIEI E IN FRANCIA
Due vittorie e tanto protagonismo.
Si può riassumere così il Turul Romaniei (Uci 2.1) dell’Androni Giocattoli Sidermec.
La corsa a tappe romena si è chiusa ieri a Bucarest con il quinto posto dello stagista Cristian Rocchetta nello sprint che ha deciso la frazione. Proprio Rocchetta aveva già centrato una top-10 nella frazione che aveva seguito il prologo d’apertura.
I due successi per l’Androni Giocattoli Sidermec sono arrivati con Janos Pelikan, il più veloce nel prologo del primo giorno, e Daniel Munoz, il più forte nel primo arrivo in salita della seconda tappa.
Con Munoz sempre nel vivo delle tappe più difficili (per il colombiano anche un quarto posto nella terza tappa), buon protagonista è stato anche Eduardo Sepulveda che ha ottenuto un terzo e un quinto posto di tappa. Proprio Sepulveda e Munoz sono stati i due migliori dell’Androni Giocattoli Sidermec nella classifica generale finale dove hanno chiuso rispettivamente al quarto posto (con lo stesso tempo del terzo classificato) e al quinto posto.
Alessandro Bisolti, invece, è rimasto appena fuori dalla top-10.
Per il team è arrivato il successo nella classifica a squadre.
Belle notizie nella settimana di doppia attività sono arrivate anche dalla Francia e dalle tre corse (Uci 1.1) in programma da venerdì a domenica. Ieri a Doubs il bel 4° posto di Tesfazion è stata solo la conclusione di tre gare intense. Con Mattia Basi, sempre pronto ad andare in fuga, a dimostrare un’ottima condizione è stato Luca Chirico, 6° a Besancon, 11° al Jura e ieri, quando era con i migliori nel finale, bloccato solo da una caduta.
Proprio le cadute hanno ancora una volta condizionato in parte la squadra che ha saputo comunque reagire al meglio.
Proprio su questo tema si inserisce il commento del team manager Gianni Savio: «Una prova di carattere da parte di tutti i componenti la squadra. Abbiamo saputo reagire alle avversità incontrate in questa sfortunata stagione.
Vari incidenti hanno condizionato il rendimento di alcuni corridori, rendendoli anche indisponibili. È il caso di Santiago Umba, che purtroppo ha già chiuso la stagione per la frattura al braccio riportata in occasione del Tour de l’Avenir».

Two victories and a lot of protagonism. This is how the Turul Romaniei (Uci 2.1) by Androni Giocattoli Sidermec can be summarized. The Romanian stage race ended yesterday in Bucharest with the fifth place of the intern Cristian Rocchetta in the sprint that decided the fraction.
