TOUR DE HONGRIE-Vini Zabù
Riparte dall’Ungheria la stagione della Vini Zabù che per il terzo anno di fila sarà presente al Tour de Hongrie dove in passato gli uomini diretti da Francesco Frassi e Tomas Gil hanno saputo mettersi in luce.
Nell’edizione 2020 infatti Jakub Mareczko si portò a casa tre tappe e la classifica a punti mentre l’anno precedente Edoardo Zardini chiuse al 4° posto in classifica generale grazie alla bella performance nella frazione con l’arrivo in salita di Gyöngyös-Kékestető che anche quest’anno sarà la tappa regina.
La selezione sarà completata da Liam Bertazzo, Simone Bevilacqua, Marco Frapporti e Kamil Gradek.
C’è grande voglia di ricominciare e tutto ciò è confermato dalle parole del Direttore Sportivo Francesco Frassi: “Vogliamo dimenticare ciò che è successo e ripartire.
La stagione è lunga, ci sono tante occasioni davanti a noi e proveremo a coglierle fin da questo Tour de Hongrie che presenta delle frazioni a noi congeniali. I ragazzi, dopo un primo momento di sconforto, hanno lavorato bene e sono pronti per riscattarsi dimostrando tutto il loro valore”.
TOUR DE HONGRIE
The season of the team Vini Zabù restarts from Hungary where the riders directed by Francesco Frassi and Tomas Gil will be at the start for the third season in a row in a race where in the past the team has achieved some very good results.
In 2020 Jakub Mareczko managed to win three stages and the points classification while in the previous edition Edoardo Zardini ended in 4th place of the general classification thanks to a great performance on the uphill finish of Gyöngyös-Kékestető that will be the queen stage also for this season.
The line up is completed by Liam Bertazzo, Simone Bevilacqua, Marco Frapporti and Kamil Gradek.
The team wants to start with the right foot and this is confirmed by the words of the Sports Director Francesco Frassi:
“We want to forget what has happened and restart. The season is long, there are many opportunities ahead and we will try to seize them beginning from the Tour de Hongrie that suits us well. The riders, after some days of logical discouragement, have worked hard and they are ready to prove their worth”.
