OVERALL GUARDA A NUOVI ORIZZONTI. DALLA GRECIA ARRIVA DAVARIAS
Nella continua ricerca di nuovi talenti il Team Overall Tre Colli, nel 2022, scommettera’ sul giovane greco Joannis Davarias. Under 23, classe 2002 nativo di Creta passista veloce che in Piemonte aveva lasciato il segno da Juniores nel 2019 vincendo a sorpresa ma meritatamente a Bogogno.
La pandemia ha rallentato la crescita dell’atleta che era gia’ nelle mire di Overall nel 2021 ma che si e’ preferito concedergli ancora un anno di transizione per meglio adattarsi al mondo del ciclismo dilettantistico italiano.
Davarias coniuga lo studio (facolta’ di Giurisprudenza a Pavia) e il ciclismo con l’obbiettivo dichiarato di raggiungere il professionismo, ha caratteristiche tecniche di corridore moderno che predilige le gare vallonate dove la selezione porta al traguardo gruppi ristretti di concorrenti e dove lo spunto in volata puo’ fare la differenza. Sara’ uno dei punti di riferimento del Team nel drappello di Under 23 che indosseranno la casacca giallo nera del Team 2022. Davarias, dopo le visite mediche, rientrera’ in Grecia per riaggregarsi al sodalizio novese nel mese di gennaio.

In the continuous search for new talents the Overall Tre Colli Team, in 2022, will bet on the young Greek Joannis Davarias. Under 23, born in 2002, native of Crete, fast passer who in Piedmont had left his mark as Juniors in 2019 by winning a surprise but deservedly in Bogogno. Davarias combines study (faculty of Law in Pavia) and cycling with the declared goal of achieving professionalism, has the technical characteristics of a modern runner who prefers valley races where the selection leads to small groups of competitors and where the inspiration in the sprint it can make a difference. He will be one of the reference points of the Team in the Under 23 squad who will wear the yellow black jersey of Team 2022. Davarias, after medical examinations, will return to Greece to rejoin the Novese association in January.
