E’ tornato Cavendisg
Cavendish torna a sorridere sul traguardo di Fugeres dove aveva già vinto 6 anni fà e rompe un incubo liberatorio.
E scoppia in lacrime spinto anche dalla 31° vittoria al Tour de France abbellita anche dalla leadership nella classifica a punti perciò in maglia verde.
Il gruppo aveva raggiunto il fuggitivo Brent Van Moer (Lotto Soudal) a circa 300 metri dal traguardo. Il corridore belga era il superstite di una fuga a due.

Fougères, Tuesday, June 29th – Mark Cavendish claimed his 31st stage victory at the Tour de France five years after the last one and six years after he already imposed himself at Fougères. Nacer Bouhanni and Jasper Philipsen rounded out the podium in this bunch sprint finish. Mathieu van der Poel completes the four days of the race in Brittany with the Maillot Jaune ahead of the first individual time trial.
