Busto Arsizio Welcomes Back Cycling with the Tre Valli and the Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race | e-work

Busto Arsizio, September 12, 2025 – The Tre Valli Varesine and the Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race | e-work are drawing closer. The countdown officially began yesterday with the first “Quartier Tappa” presentation of the 5th Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race | e-work and the 104th Tre Valli Varesine, hosted in the City Council Hall of Busto Arsizio.
Both events, which will once again attract some of the world’s top professional male and female riders to the province of Varese, will start from the Textile Museum in Busto Arsizio and finish in Via Sacco, right in front of the Varese City Hall.
The conference opened with a heartfelt tribute to Alfredo Ambrosetti, who passed away a few days ago. Known as the founder of the Forum in Cernobbio, Ambrosetti was a key figure for S.C. Binda and the Tre Valli Varesine. President Renzo Oldani dedicated an emotional remembrance to his legacy.
Words from the hosts
“Once again this year, the City of Busto Arsizio is proud and honored to host the start of the legendary Tre Valli Varesine, as well as its women’s edition, the Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race – declared Busto Arsizio Mayor Emanuele Antonelli and Deputy Mayor and Sports Councillor Luca Folegani. – Beyond the sporting value of the event, we see it as a showcase for our city, a driver of visibility, growth, and economic development. We believe in sport as an extraordinary tool for inclusion and development – the same commitment we have carried forward in the world of work for 25 years, promoting equal opportunities and valuing talent, without leaving anyone behind, with particular attention to those facing difficulties. Our partnership with the Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race | e-work and Team Mendelspeck | e-work is tangible proof of how companies and sport can combine energy and values to open new paths for growth and future opportunities for all. Celebrating e-work’s 25th anniversary as main sponsor of the Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race | e-work holds a very special meaning for us!”
“The partnership between the Acinque Group and the Tre Valli Varesine has a long history, as the event fully reflects our corporate values – commented Stefano Cetti, CEO of the Lombard multi-utility company. – Among these are our strong local roots and the promotion of sports values, particularly in cycling, such as sacrifice and teamwork, while also showcasing the architectural and natural beauty of the Varese province. We also remain committed to sustainability by supporting soft and electric mobility, fostering increasingly sustainable development of our territories.”
The two races broadcast live on five continents
This year again, the races organized by Società Ciclistica Alfredo Binda will be broadcast live on RAI Sport and RAI 2, while RAI Italia and discovery+ / Eurosport will bring the Tre Valli Varesine to audiences across five continents.
The routes
The Women’s Elite race will follow the same route as last year, while the men’s race will once again feature in its finale the climb known as “Le Cinque Piante.” From Gavirate, Oltrona, it ascends to the Barasso wall ending at the Town Hall, then continues uphill through Luvinate and Casciago. This section was the novelty last year but could not be included due to bad weather, which eventually forced the cancellation of the event. More details on the routes will be announced in the coming days.
