BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: CON UN’ULTIMA GRANDE TAPPA FILIPPO ZANA CONSOLIDA E CONQUISTA IL TERZO GRADINO DEL PODIO DEL TOUR DE L’AVENIR.
Ultima tappa scoppiettante con lo spagnolo Carlos Rodriguez che attacca da lontano, mentre Filippo Zana stacca il leader norvegese Johannessen e il suo diretto avversario per il podio l’olandese Leemreize Gjis sull’ultima salita. Terzo posto finale per il giovane atleta della nazionale azzurra e della Bardiani CSF Faizanè, raggiunto con grande costanza e 3 podi di tappa.
Filippo Zana sale sul terzo gradino del podio del Tour de l’Avenir. Al termine di un’ultima tappa molto accesa e combattuta Filippo Zana si conferma al terzo posto della classifica finale del Tour de l’Avenir.
L’atleta classe ’99 della Bardiani CSF Faizanè era al via della prestigiosa competizione internazionale con al via molti tra i migliori atleti Under23 al mondo. Filippo Zana con la maglia della nazionale si è presto rivelato il leader della compagine azzurra in classifica generale, lottando per il successo finale con il norvegese Johannessen, lo spagnolo Carlos Rodriguez e l’olandese Gjis Leemreize.
Nell’ultima tappa della competizione Carlos Rodriguez prova l’attacco da lontano arrivando a indossare anche la maglia di leader virtuale in alcuni frangenti di gara. Alle sue spalle forte selezione del gruppo. Rimangono in 5 inseguitori sulla salita finale, tra loro il leader norvegese, l’atleta olandese e Filippo Zana che ai -5km sferra l’attacco finale staccando il suo diretto concorrente per il terzo gradino del podio e consolidando così la sua posizione in classifica.
Queste le parole di Filippo Zana dopo il traguardo: “Per me è stato un onore indossare la maglia della nazionale in una competizione così prestigiosa. Ci tenevo molto a fare bene e come da piani nelle tappe in salita sono riuscito a dare il meglio di me. Oggi lo spagnolo ha attaccato da molto lontano a oltre 60km dall’arrivo io stavo bene, ma forse non così in condizione da provare a partire da così lontano, così ho preferito restare con il leader e attaccarlo sull’ultima salita. Un terzo posto di prestigio di cui siamo soddisfatti.”

BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: WITH THE LAST STAGE FILIPPO ZANA IS CONFIRMED ON THE FINAL PODIUM OF THE TOUR DE L’AVENIR.
Last stage crackling with the Spaniard Carlos Rodriguez attacking from afar, while Filippo Zana detaches the Norwegian leader Johannessen and his direct opponent for the podium the Dutch Leemreize Gjis on the last climb. Third final place for the young rider of the Italian national team and Bardiani CSF Faizanè, achieved with great consistency and 3 stage podiums.
Filippo Zana climbs on the third step of the podium of the Tour de l’Avenir. At the end of a very hard-fought last stage, Filippo Zana confirms himself in third place in the final classification of the Tour de l’Avenir.
The rider born in 1999 of Bardiani CSF Faizanè was at the start of the prestigious international competition with many of the best Under23 athletes in the world at the start. Filippo Zana with the national team quickly revealed himself to be the leader of the blue team in the overall standings, fighting for the final victory with the Norwegian Johannessen, the Spaniard Carlos Rodriguez and the Dutch Gjis Leemreize.
In the last stage of the competition, Carlos Rodriguez tries the attack from afar, even wearing the jersey of virtual leader in some moments of the race. Behind him a strong selection of the group. There are still 5 pursuers on the final climb, among them the Norwegian leader, the Dutch athlete and Filippo Zana who launches the final attack at -5km, detaching his direct competitor for the third step of the podium and thus consolidating his position in the standings.
These are the words of Filippo Zana after the finish: “For me it was an honor to wear the national team jersey in such a prestigious competition. I was very keen to do well and as planned in the uphill stages I was able to give my best. Today the Spaniard attacked from a long way off, over 60km from the finish and I was fine, but maybe not so in a position to try from so far away, so I preferred to stay with the leader and attack him on the last climb. A third prestigious place that we are satisfied with.”
