BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: ALESSIO MARTINELLI SARÀ IL TERZO NEO-PRO A UNIRSI AL TEAM PER LA STAGIONE 2022.
È Alessio Martinelli, atleta classe 2001 in forza al team Colpack Ballan il terzo giovane neo-professionista pronto a fare il salto con la maglia della Bardiani CSF Faizanè nel 2022. Il vice-campione del mondo (2019) della categoria Juniores era già nell’orbita del #GreenTeam che continua così la linea verde tracciata ormai da molti anni.
Dopo due anni di esperienza nel team Colpack Ballan, il 2022 sarà la stagione del grande salto per Alessio Martinelli che passerà professionista con la Bardiani CSF Faizanè. Per Alessio Martinelli il #Greenteam non rappresenta una completa novità. A inizio stagione 2021 si è infatti già aggregato al team nel training camp di inizio stagione a Benidorm in Spagna. In quella occasione ha già potuto testarsi durante gli allenamenti al fianco dei pro e condividere i primi momenti insieme ad alcuni di coloro che diventeranno i suoi futuri compagni di squadra.
LA DICHIARAZIONE:
Alessio Martinelli: “Sicuramente i miei due anni da Junior sono stati più fortunati e ricchi di soddisfazioni degli ultimi due. Da Junior ho raccolto 13 successi in due anni, il primo è stato di crescita, il secondo con la tappa regina del Lunigiana, il secondo posto al mondiale e i tanti successi e piazzamenti sono riuscito a esprimermi come volevo. In questi ultimi due anni, oltre allo stop Covid, ho purtroppo subito numerose cadute, che hanno portato a ripetuti stop e infortuni ogni volta che ero pronto a ripartire. Devo ringraziare il team Colpack di Beppe Colleoni che nonostante le cadute e gli infortuni mi ha sempre aspettato e dato l’opportunità di gareggiare in competizioni importanti, così come il team Bardiani CSF Faizanè che mi segue da quando ero Juniores e mi ha dato grande fiducia con questo contratto. Sono pronto a ripagarli.”
RISULTATI DI PRESTIGIO.
L’atleta lombardo originario di Sondalo, vicino a Bormio, ha raccolto importanti risultati nelle categorie giovanili. In particolare il 2019, nel suo ultimo anno da Juniores quando vinse la terza tappa del Giro della Lunigiana, giungendo anche secondo nella classifica generale della prestigiosa gara giovanile. Nel 2019 per lui anche un altro prestigioso secondo posto, quello ai campionati del mondo Juniores di Harrogate e il terzo posto ai campionati nazionali di categoria. Più sfortunato il suo periodo tra i Dilettanti dove numerosi infortuni, conseguenti alle cadute, lo hanno costretto a ripetuti stop, che tuttavia non minano le grandi qualità e potenzialità di un atleta ancora tutto da scoprire, esplosivo e capace di esprimersi sia su strappi che su salite più impegnative.

BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: ALESSIO MARTINELLI WILL BE THE THIRD NEO-PRO TO JOIN THE TEAM FOR THE SEASON 2022.
Alessio Martinelli of the Colpack Ballan team is the third young Neo-pros ready to make the jump with the Bardiani CSF Faizanè jersey in 2022. The vice-world champion (2019) of the Juniores category was already followed by the team that continues so the green line has been drawn for many years now.
After two years of experience in the Colpack Ballan team, 2022 will be the season of the big jump among pros for Alessio Martinelli with Bardiani CSF Faizanè. For Alessio Martinelli the #Greenteam does not represent a complete novelty. In fact, at the beginning of the 2021 season he already joined the team in the training camp at the beginning of the season in Benidorm in Spain. On that occasion he was already able to test himself during training alongside the pros and share the first moments with some of those who will become his future teammates.

Alessio Martinelli: “Surely my two years as a Junior have been more lucky and more satisfying than the last two. As a Junior I collected 13 successes in two years, the first was for growth, the second with the queen stage of Lunigiana, second place in the world championship and the many successes and placings I managed to express myself as I wanted. In the last two years, in addition to the Covid stop, I have unfortunately suffered numerous falls, which led to repeated stops and injuries every time that I was ready to re-start. I have to thank the Colpack team and Beppe Colleoni, that despite the falls and injuries they always waited for me and gave me the opportunity to compete in important competitions, as well as the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team that has followed me since I was Juniores and has given me great confidence with this contract. I’m ready to pay them back. “
TOP RESULTS
The rider originally from Sondalo, near Bormio, has collected important results in the youth categories. In particular 2019, in his last year as Juniores when he won the third stage of the Giro della Lunigiana, also finishing second in the general ranking of the prestigious youth race. In 2019 for him also another prestigious second place, the one at the Harrogate Junior World Championships and the third place at the national category championships. More unfortunate was his last two years where numerous injuries, resulting from falls, forced him to repeated stops, which however did not undermine the great qualities and potential of a riders that still has to be discovered, explosive and capable of expressing himself both on short climbs and also on more challenging climbs.
