Al Dhafra Castle, 10 February 2023 – Good morning from Stage 2, Al Marina Holding Stage, of the first edition of the UAE Tour Women, organised by Abu Dhabi Sports Council and taking place from 9-12 February – the one and only UCI WorldTour race in the Middle East.
The second stage features 133km of riding on a mostly flat route along wide and straight roads, from Al Dhafra Castle to Al Mirfa.

The peloton, 163 riders strong, passed km 0 at 13:08. Did not start bib nr 63 – Tamara   Dronova (Israel Premier Tech Roland).

THE ROUTE

Stage 2: Al Dhafra Castle – Al Mirfa (133 KM), Al Marina Holding Stage

The stage of the desert. Stage 2 starts from Al Dhafra Castle in the desert, and reaches Madinat Zayed along wide and straight roads. After the city it crosses the desert again for over 60 km towards the coast, heading directly towards Al Mirfa.

Last kms
Final section is on a wide road, perfect pavement and only one bend on a roundabout, before the final straight. The finish line is on asphalt 8m wide.
