Milano, 18 Gennaio 2016 GIRO D’ITALIA 2016: LA NIPPO VINI FANTINI PARTECIPERA’ ALLA CORSA ROSA, UFFICIALE LA WILD CARD.
Ufficializzate in mattinata le Wild Card di RCS per la Corsa Rosa. Per il secondo anno consecutivo il team NIPPO Vini Fantini riceve l’importante invito da RCS Sport. Il General Manager Pelosi: “Siamo orgogliosi della fiducia accordataci dagli organizzatori, per il nostro progetto di ciclismo in grande crescita. Onoreremo l’invito presentandoci al top della condizione, confermando la nostra correttezza, ma lavorando per raccogliere ottimi risultati.” LA SPEZIA (SP) – 18 gennaio 2016, ufficializzate le Wild Card per il Giro d’Italia 2016. La NIPPO Vini Fantini riceve l’invito per la Corsa Rosa, che si correrà dal 6 al 29 maggio, con partenza in Olanda e arrivo a Torino. Una conferma importante ricevuta dal team dalla doppia anima Italo-Giapponese, per un progetto che per consolidarsi e crescere non può prescindere da un appuntamento così prestigioso. Il consolidamento del progetto che vede in Damiano Cunego la guida per la crescita dei giovani talenti, Italiani e Giapponesi, in vista delle olimpiadi di Tokyo 2020, passerà quindi sopratutto per le strade del Giro d’Italia 2016. Il primo a esprimere la sua gioia su Twitter è il capitano #OrangeBlue, Damiano Cunego, pronto ad affrontare per l’undicesima volta la Corsa Rosa, conquistata nel 2004: “Super felice e motivato per un grande Giro d’Italia, grazie RCS_Sport per la fiducia. Gli #OrangeBlue ed io siamo pronti a dare il massimo.” Il General Manager, Francesco Pelosi, commenta così la Wild Card ricevuta: “Il mio ringraziamento va a RCS Sport e Mauro Vegni per l’invito a un evento così prestigioso. Nel processo di crescita del progetto dalla doppia anima Italo-Giapponese, la fiducia degli organizzatori del Giro d’Italia era fondamentale. Con grande orgoglio, prepareremo la nostra stagione per essere al top della condizione nel mese di maggio per disputare un grande Giro, basato sulla correttezza sportiva che nel 2015 ci ha portato a vincere il premio Fair Play, ma con la convinzione di poter crescere nei risultati, avendo tanti talenti pronti ad esprimersi al meglio” Il DS Stefano Giuliani, riceve la notizia in Argentina, dove la squadra si prepara proprio oggi al debutto stagionale nel prologo del Tour de San Luis: “Siamo in Argentina, pronti a dare il via alla nuova stagione al Tour de San Luis e riceviamo dall’Italia questa grandissima notizia. Non ci poteva essere modo migliore per partire e per darci ulteriore grinta e motivazione. Sono estremamente felice per l’invito perché sono sicuro che i nostri giovani siano cresciuti molto nella scorsa stagione e siano quindi pronti al grande salto di qualità. Damiano Cunego è un capitano ritrovato e ha davvero voglia di prendersi sulla strada altri prestigiosi risultati. Inoltre abbiamo nuovi importanti corridori, un leader aggiunto come Grega Bole e la compagine giapponese che porterà al Giro d’Italia un nuovo giovane talento. Wild Card for Giro d’Italia are now official, and the NIPPO Vini Fantini has been officially invited by RCS Sport to the Pink Ride for the second year. The NIPPO Vini Fantini will ride the Pink Ride, from 6 to 29 of May, with official start on The Netherlands and arrival in Turin. An important confirmation received from the team with the double soul Italian-Japanese, a project that to grow up and consolidate cannot miss such important events as the Giro d’Italia.
