Novo Mesto (Slovenja) – Tommaso Nencini è molto lesto a Novo Mesto e conquista la sua prima vittoria da Professionista

TOMMASO NENCINI ROMPE IL GHIACCIO E VINCE IL GP NOVEGA MESTA

Novo Mesto, 29 Marzo 2026 – Straordinaria prestazione di Tommaso Nencini al GP Novega Mesta: il corridore del Team Solution Tech–NIPPO–Rali, con un meraviglioso sprint, conquista la sua prima vittoria da professionista, regalando anche il sesto successo stagionale alla squadra.

La gara è stata gestita con grande attenzione dalla squadra. Nencini, insieme a Iacchi e Duric, hanno gestito ogni fase della corsa, restando sempre vicino ai compagni Dušan Rajović, Tilen Finkst e Michele Gazzoli, i capitani designati per la volata.

Negli ultimi tre chilometri, però, la situazione è cambiata: Rajović ha avuto un problema meccanico, mentre Gazzoli è stato sfortunatamente coinvolto in una caduta a soli 300 metri dal traguardo. In quel momento decisivo, Nencini ha preso in mano la situazione lanciandosi la volata e mantenendo la posizione fino al traguardo, dove ha potuto alzare le braccia al cielo, coronando così una vittoria tanto attesa quanto meritata.

Ottima prova anche di Tilen Finkst, che nonostante la caduta avvenuta nelle fasi finali di corsa, ha sfiorato il podio, conquistando un buon 4° posto.  

“È difficile descrivere quello che provo – racconta Tommaso Nencini –. Questa vittoria significa tantissimo per me: è la prima da professionista ed è qualcosa che inseguivo da tempo. Abbiamo controllato tutta la gara con Iacchi e Duric e nel finale ci sono stati diversi attacchi. Sono sempre rimasto accanto a Rajović, Finkst e Gazzoli e quando ho visto che Rajović aveva problemi e Gazzoli era caduto, ho capito che dovevo provarci. Ho dato tutto e ho lanciato lo sprint che mi ha permesso di ottenere questo bellissimo successo!”

Novo Mesto, 29 March 2026 – An extraordinary performance by Tommaso Nencini at the GP Novega Mesta: the rider of Team Solution Tech–NIPPO–Rali, with a brilliant sprint, claimed his first professional victory, also delivering the team’s sixth win of the season.

The race was managed with great attention by the team. Nencini, together with Iacchi and Duric, controlled every phase of the race, always staying close to teammates Dušan Rajović, Tilen Finkst, and Michele Gazzoli, the designated leaders for the sprint finish.

In the last three kilometers, however, the situation changed: Rajović suffered a mechanical issue, while Gazzoli was unfortunately involved in a crash just 300 meters from the finish line. In that decisive moment, Nencini took charge, launching the sprint and holding his position all the way to the line, where he could raise his arms in triumph, achieving a long-awaited and well-deserved victory.

Tilen Finkst also delivered an excellent performance. Despite the crash in the final stages  of the race, he narrowly missed the podium, finishing in a solid 4th place.

“It’s hard to describe what I feel – says Tommaso Nencini. – This victory means so much to me: it’s my first as a professional, and it’s something I’ve been chasing for a long time. I controlled the whole race with Iacchi and Duric, and in the finale there were several attacks. I always stayed close to Rajović, Finkst, and Gazzoli, and when I saw Rajović having problems and Gazzoli had crashed, I knew I had to try. I gave everything and launched the sprint that allowed me to achieve this beautiful success!”
