Trofeo Alfredo Binda, inizia la settimana del trofeo Alfredo Binda. La Valcuvia aspetta le cicliste in arrivo da tutto il mondo
Inizia la settimana del trofeo Binda; così Cittiglio, Gavirate e tutta la Valcuvia si tirano a lucido per il doppio appuntamento di domenica; il trofeo Alfredo Binda per donne elite e il trofeo Da Moreno per donne junior; due eventi che non temono confronti con tutte le altre gare nel mondo: “Stiamo lavorando per mettere a punto gli ultimi aspetti dell’organizzazione – ha spiegato Mario Minervino, condottiero della Cycling Sport Promotion che organizza le due gare – abbiamo già installato gran parte della comunicazione che caratterizza gli eventi: le rotonde, il cartellone allo stabilimento della Colacem, stiamo per montare le bandiere e i cartelli che un po’ ovunque annunciano le gare di domenica.
Inizieremo presto a montare il palco e le strutture all’arrivo e alla partenza.
Poi sarà la volta degli archi gonfiabili e così via. Dovremmo avere bel tempo quasi tutta la settimana e questo ci faciliterà il lavoro; dopo la neve dei giorni scorsi possiamo tirare un sospiro di sollievo. Aspettiamo solo le atlete e i loro staff e domenica gli appassionati ai quali abbiamo preparato un bel programma d’intrattenimento”.
In effetti già venerdì sera chi arriverà a Cittiglio avrà modo di festeggiare; tanta musica, intrattenimento e buon cibo fino a domenica pomeriggio.

Alfredo Binda Trophy, the Alfredo Binda Trophy week begins and the Valcuvia region is looking forward to welcoming cyclists from all over the world
The Binda Trophy week begins and Cittiglio, Gavirate and the whole Valcuvia region are finalising the preparations for the double event on Sunday; the Alfredo Binda Trophy for elite women and the Da Moreno Trophy for junior women; two events that can hold their own with any other race in the world: “We are putting the finishing touches on all aspects of the race – explained Mario Minervino, leader of Cycling Sport Promotion which organises the two races – we have already installed a large part of the communication that distinguishes the events: the roundabouts, the billboard at the Colacem factory, we are about to put up the flags and the posters that announce Sunday’s races all over the region. We will soon start to set up the stage and the structures for the start and finish lines. Then it will be the turn of the arches and all the rest. The weather should be good all week and this will make our work easier; after the recent snows, we can breathe a sigh of relief. Now we are just waiting for the athletes, their staff and the fans, on Sunday, for whom we have prepared a full programme of entertainment”.
Those who arrive in Cittiglio on Friday will already find fun; lots of music, entertainment and good food right up until Sunday afternoon. Don’t miss out!
